Who is responsible for what you read here
Aurelle publishes money rules for Canada and the United States, and for money that crosses the border between them, with the source and the date checked beside each. This page says who stands behind it.
Who runs Aurelle
- Run by
- Aurelle, a publisher based in Iroquois Falls, Ontario, Canada.
- People
- A founder, who is not named on these sites, runs Aurelle. Reviewers join Aurelle Standards at the first election in January 2027; their names, credentials and review dates will be published on the Aurelle Institute site.

- Corrections policy and change log
- What Aurelle is not
- Not a registered dealer, adviser, tax preparer, accounting firm, immigration consultant or law firm in any province, territory or state.
How a rule gets onto this site
- Aurelle reads the primary source: the statute, the regulation, the agency's own page or the treaty text.
- It writes the rule in plain words, with the source linked and the edition and the date it was accessed.
- It tags the rule Settled, Changing, Contested or Needs a person.
- It checks every rule again by the next-check date, now February 2027. A change is logged on the corrections page.
Who checks the rules
Today the founder checks them. The founder is not a lawyer, an accountant or a planner. That is why every rule links to its source, and why a professional should check anything you act on.
From January 2027, reviewers elected to Aurelle Standards check the rules too. Their names, credentials and review dates are published on the Aurelle Institute site.
How Aurelle is paid
Professionals pay Aurelle to hold a seat. You pay nothing. That is a conflict of interest, and Aurelle publishes how it limits it. How Aurelle is paid.
The other two Aurelle sites
Aurelle Institute is for professionals and firms: the seats, the criteria and the roll of seat holders. Aurelle Academy is for students and trainees: free lessons and, later, Handbooks.
